Time Boxing - For Effective Task Management

For those of you in job, you might have felt that one of the task you need to do is eating up a lot of your time and nothing is getting done. (This may apply for students too and not just the ones with jobs).

There is a techinique called time boxing, that may help you out: Time Boxing is an Effective Getting Things Done Strategy

It basically invovles setting priority for the tasks and alloting time for them.  After that, you work on those tasks, only within the alloted time and do not let things drag out.

This might help me out...

Last few days at work, had beed really bad for me.  I had been trying real hard juggling between work and still more work.  And I think this time boxing would help me out managing my work and my time in a better manner.
