The purpose of launching Funkaam is to bring in together Work and Fun.

Kaam in Hindi means ‘Work’, and Work here refers to the occupation, that earns money for the individual, where in, the individual is employed based upon his/her skill set.  But apart from work, there is another important part in each individual’s life, which comprises of one’s avocation (hobbies) and more or less defines one’s personality.

Funkaam will provide a platform to share ideas, visions and work cultures of various industry and service practices. In the beginning it would start with IT, ITES, Electronics, Electrical Industry basically and various verticals involved in these Service sectors. But we will have our options option to embrace other Industries as well.

Now coming to ‘Fun’ part of Funkaam, it aims to become a launch pad for various hobbies and recreational activities. These are the activities, for which we feel passionate about, which constitute an important part of us and moreover help us unwind after a busy day’s work.  And yet these urges of our heart keeps getting postponed due to our busy work lives, always being pushed down in our priority list.  Hobbies were never pre-defined and they never had boundaries, anything and everything under the sun that helps spend some quality time with one is worth the time and effort spent.

Funkaam aspires to become a social networking site, to facilitate it’s members growth in both professional and personal aspect.

So, lets join hands and make Funkaam a fun place to be. Together we can, we must and we will.
